About Us

Apna Fresh Farm & Grocery was founded in 2001 with a simple vision, to create a grocery store that was built on quality, value and strong community ties.

It was started by Mr. Mustafa Hazari, with Mustafa and his wife running every part of the store personally. They worked together for more than a decade, serving customers, managing the day-to-day and building the foundation of what Apna Fresh Farm would become.

With the business flourishing, Mr Abid Hussain joined Mustafa, bringing fresh strength, expertise and vision to the growing Mississauga grocery store. Together they continued to build on the values that had been established at the beginning.

One of the biggest growth areas was the fresh meat department. Under Abid’s leadership and direction we trained and developed our team to follow high standards of preparation, handling, cleanliness and customer service. This commitment to quality has allowed Apna Fresh Farm’s meat department to become one of the most trusted places to shop for fresh, high-quality meat in the community.

Today, over 20 years later, Apna Fresh Farm & Grocery in Mississauga is still going strong with a committed team of 50+ employees and still growing, while remaining true to the principles that started it all. Located in the heart of the vibrant Ridgeway Plaza, we offer over 26,000 products including fresh meat, fresh produce, bakery, international groceries, household essentials and much more at our Mississauga grocery store.

We pride ourselves on offering our customers a wide variety, friendly shopping environment, quality products and competitive prices all under one roof. From a small family-run grocery store to a leading destination in the community, our journey is a story built on hard work, experience, partnership and the trust of our customers.

From two people and a small store to a team of over 50, Apna Fresh Farm continues to grow with the same passion that started it all in 2001, and build its future, one customer at a time.
